Just because the rest of your body ages doesn’t mean you want your hands to follow pursuit. No matter what your age is, your hands can and should look younger.

Here are five ways to have younger-looking hands:

1. Use glycerine soap.

While sanitizing gels and antibacterial soaps are effective in killing germs, they do cause dryness. So consider using something gentler such as skin conditioning glycerin.

2. Moisturize your hands with aloe.

Household tasks such as washing dishes can be hard on your hands. Solve this problem by wearing aloe-lined disposable gloves while doing the dishes. You can also moisturize your hands at night: rub the gel from an aloe vera plant’s leaf into your hands. Afterward, sleep in white cotton gloves.

3. Use an anti-aging serum.

An antioxidant-rich vitamin C serum such as DeVita-C can protect your hands from aging from “free radicals,” which is onset by chemical reactions such as sunlight, smoke, pollution, etc.

4. Lighten skin discolorations with carrot cream.

Using beta-carotene-rich carrot oil can lighten your hands’ age spots. Be sure to use it nightly.

5. Squeeze fresh lemon juice for brown spots.

Given that it’s high in acid, lemon juice can lighten age spots in weeks; thus, giving you younger-looking hands. Simply rub this freshly squeezed juice onto your hands. Bottled lemon juice isn’t recommended. In addition, it’s recommended that you do this only at nighttime since lemon can make you vulnerable to sun damage.
